M4A2, 32nd Tank Regiment, 16th Guards Cavalry Division, 7th Guards Cavalry Corps, Poland, July 1944. Each of the three cavalry divisions in the 7th Guards Cavalry Corps had a tank regiment. The insignia appears to have been a yellow horseshoe with the regimental number inside though details are lacking. The tanks carried the usual three-digit tactical number and it is possible that the first digit identified the division/tank regiment in sequence. These Lend-Lease M4A2 remained in overall US Army olive drab, evident from the fact that the white shipping stencils were still evident on the side.
